Eight Olympic gold medallists from Paris 2024, in individual events, will compete in the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea - Powered by IP on Friday 30 August starting at 7:30 pm at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, leg number 13 of the Wanda Diamond League 2024: Roje Stona (Jamaica, discus throw), Ryan Crouser (USA, shot put), Nina Kennedy (Australia, pole vault), Winfred Yavi (Bahrain, 3000m steeplechase), Masai Russell (100m hurdles, USA), Tara Davis-Woodhall (USA, long jump), Faith Kipyegon (Kenya, 1500m) and Letsile Tebogo (Botswana), Olympic gold medallist in the 200m, competing in the 100m. In total, there will be 15 gold medallists in individual events of the Olympic Games, including the previous editions.
